The concert was excellent. The kriti renditions were very good. The manOdarmam was completely new and very impressive. she did a great job. the accompanists were both very impressive and lived up to the main artist.

yes. the concert had 3 compositions that are compositions of the main artist, Smt. Baby Sriram

Bharath,
I heard her a few weeks ago in Bangalore and thought she was very good. Did not know she composed in tamizh (she is from KeraLA and lives in TN?). She sings at a very low Sruti unlike any young vocalists but her voice has azhuttam.

SVK"s daughter Jaya had arranged a remembrance day for Sethalapathy Balu Mama which featured Baby Sriram sometime in October. The viruthams she rendered brought back memories of Mama. Ragasudha Hall was filled with 'oohs' and 'aahs' for her " Poonguil koovum". Long time back, when Kairali TV used to telecast " Ragolsavam", Baby Sriram has spoken about mama and his viruthams.

Seeing this review I attended her concert today at Parthasathy Sabha. She sang a very good Thodi.

But i think she had problem with her voice.

i m told she has asthmatic problems and hence her voice has problems at times...
