In one word to put this concert is like this. After the concert was over, a foreigner got up from the second row and shouted twice by raising both his hands - "Bravo"

starting with sudha seemandhani!! something new to me. janaki ramana is one of my favourites. but heard it in the middle or end of kutchery only. vijay siva always sticks to tradition and it shows in his list of selection.

naarayanan, I've always thought of jAnaki ramaNa as a top-order item. In fact I don't think I have ever heard it at the end! I think it goes really well at the top. KVN used to sing it quite often as the third piece I think.

Jigyasa- You are right. What I mentioned in my earlier post-till Shankaranabharanam, he was not at his best. In fact he started to give good reply in Shankaranabharanam.

In today's Hindu review too, it was echoed- it goes like this "Shankaranabharanam was too good and Vijay siva excelled. Vittal was ok but did not contribute anything more for this concert."
