Dear Rasikas,

It seems that Music Academy will never consider T V Gopalakrishnan,VV Subramanyam etc.I feel that SudhaRaghunathan's choice is a bit premature.

Wow, indeed given to a youngster. Whilst I do not like to think of the elder artists perhaps reaching the end of their lives without that well-deserved recognition, I'm pleased to see that being older is no longer a precondition of the award.
