Arasi, I shall remember to hum Nagamomu (for I can actually hum just the first line!) next time I try to locate one of West-Mambalam's sub-streets

Now I realize that it is just as apt for you to hum in West Mambalam as you would be lost: you Rama of the beautiful smile, can you abandon me thus when I am lost, feel miserable?!

An American visitor, after listening to my wife's explantation of pronouncing Chennai place names, and hearing some examples where the stress fell in an unexpected place, informed us that she was, later, visiting West Mabaaalam. It's a good thing she wasn't going to Old Washermanpet.
