Good news, Punarvasu.
Prof. Pramila Gurumurthy mentions 'Listening Hours' which is heartening to hear. kELvi gnAnam is an essential part to learning music. Hope the university emphasizes that aspect of musical exposure to students and encourages them to listen, listen, listen. The students will soon understand that listening to the voices and sounds of the masters will help them no end in their learning process.
Cleveland Sundaram and Toronto Venkatraman and all the volunteer force in the phenonenon called Cleveland ArAdhanA are to be lauded for the international exchange of CM and for their taking steps in making it available for the coming generaions of students. We have to appreciate the university's cooperation in this effort.
