Dear nick H,
A well known South Indian Organisation wants to honour Michael Wood- He lives in North London- for his OUTSTANDING contributions to India the latest being The History of India on PBS here. I consider his to be the best such presentation todate & I have read practically AVAILABLE work on the subject. Problem is I am unable to find how to reach him. The date is April 1st & place Cleveland, Ohio & audience will be close to fifteen hundred from all over the world. I no longer am in active touch-except Physicists- with U.K. CAN YOU HELP in reaching him? He appears to be quite active, attending& giving speeches in London. Thanks, VKV ([email protected])

Sorry, VKV, I cannot help at all.
My only suggestion is that publishers are often willing to forward letters written to their authors --- or, these days (my publishing experience was in a different technological era) even e-mails perhaps.
My second "only" suggestion is that Dr John Marr at London's Bharatyia Vdya Bhavan, and ex of London University's School of Oriental and Asian Studies, is probably either in touch with, or able to make contact with, almost anyone on the South-Asian Academic circuit. If he doesn't know how, I feel confident that he wuld know someone that does.
