Who is this singer? When did she live? Where is she now? Who had she learnt from / does she have any disciples? Somehow I found some tracks that she sang and they were done very well.

i think you are mentioning about the tracks in sangeethapriya. right?? if so i think it is ambujam vedantham. she is in trichy

I think she must have learnt from musiri..

She, with a group of students released a set of three cassettes, one for each of tyagarAja, M.dIkSitar and ShAmA shAstri; with 'rare' compositions of each.. Many of their renderings from this set have been posted on Sangeethapriya tribute pages for the trinity..

The saurAshtra varNam, sarAvati song, tIrunA nAlOni in sAvEri, are some songs from these tapes..
