You must be referring to the song 'durgA devi durita nivAriNi' - it is in the rAgam navarasakannaDa. I think it is by Harikesanallur Muthiah Bhagavathar- but I am not sure.

Yes there is one song in navarasakannaDa by Muttiah Bhagavatar. There is another song listed with the same starting words, in hamsAnandi, by R.K.Suryanarayana, but I don't have the full pallavi line for it.
