RK Shriramkumar's Solo Violin Concert Tour (US) - 2009

RK Shriramkumar's solo violin tour of the US has started on Oct 3 at Phoenix. (Arun Prakash and Guruprasad are accompanying him).

Can someone who heard the two concerts in Phoenix (3rd and 4th) elaborate on them?
He performs next at Rochester on 9th (Friday) and at CMANA, NJ on 10th (Saturday).

We would then have had your review.
I look at the schedule and think, my, what a lot of criss-crossing the country the musicians hav to do. At least, they are all very young!

If a long-haul does not happen between adjacent days of concert - that's goodness. So -

1. Rochester, CMANA, Sroudsburg, Fairfax (east coast or ET: all in Northeast); Columbus, Detroit, Chicago (all in - upper mid-west); decent progression from east to upper mid-west.
2. At SanKritiLaya we very much represent the artists when scheduling concerts and try to locate same-weekend concerts at adjacent locations. (Admittedly this one has been tough balancing with tight time-slots from local organizations)
3. Chicago-San Jose is one travel aberration to that policy (we are holding our breath - Chicago weather in Nov - please pray for the schedule to go smooth with least discomfort to artists).

More importantly - we are still waiting to hear from 'Phoenicians' on the concerts! Perhaps we should wait for Rochester concert.
