This is regarding the line in charanam of the hindola raga kriti of Papanasam Sivan,
"nambikettavar evaraiyya".
It goes like :
"anru seyalizhanthala maru pozhuthu".
Is this correct? If so, what is the meaning of this?

The meaning is available here.

http://www.ecse.rpi.edu/Homepages/shivk ... ndolam.htm.

Also it may be like this,

once we lose our energy in our old age, (aru pozudu-6 times the may be he has referred to the Aru kala pooja in temples) , we will not get chance to chant Shiva's names.

or it can even be the aru- meaning the valuable time that we have wasted may not come back, if we leave out this chance.

Just an attempt!

This word is used in day-to-day use also to describe somebody in a situation not knowing what to do (=alamalandu poiTTAn/L). Here is what I got from online Tamil dictionary.
