munirao: does this description of nAdabindu coincide with that of aruNagirinAthar's conception of the same concept, as given (look in the English footnotes): http://www.kaumaram.com/thiru/nt0170.html. Are there any vEdic literature that shed light into the relationship between nAdabindu kalA with the shaDcakrAs of our body? Hope you can throw some light on this percept.

1) This description does not coincide with that of Arunagirinathar's conception, as given in the links.

2) Sama Veda, mainly and Ric Veda, briefly deal with the celestial music, but no detailed and specific treatises on Nadabindu Kala and Shadactchara. The treatise and relationship is on this is the development in puranas and itehasas, part of Smritis. The Vedas have dealt on Nada, as Omkara with A-U-M depicting/representing the Brahman-the Absolute, Iswara-Karana Brahma and Hiranyagarbha or Brahma-the karana Brahma swarupas. This was developed later for easier understanding, learning and practice(manana/reflection and nidhidhyasana-meditation). Mythical aspect is part of strong preparation and foundation to be laid for achieving higher/highest ideal(s).
