Hi,

I have learnt dance for 10yrs but have not danced for quite sometime. I am very interested in teaching this art to people who are interested. Hence plan to recollect all that I have learnt. However I thought I would initially buy some adavu cd's and prepare myself well. Which adavu cd is good? I belong to the pandanallur style of dance. I did learn Nattuvangam for a very short time.

I am really not intereted in collecting money for the art, it is just that I want to share my knowledge.

Is it that everybody who starts a class are people who are expert in the field or is it that they learn a lot even while teaching. I like your opinion on this.

Where will you find pandanallur adavus cd? Kalakshetra should be ok. I like one cd by Jayalakshmi Eshwar called "How to" (bought it long time ago on jayq.org). The swathi adavu cd is also good.
