It was an excellent concert. Totally moving. Smt. Varadachari was in form and did it fantastically, however, accompanists could have done better.

the concerts i attended, they had announced the broadcast of them concerts. i have mentioned that. i dont know about the ones i did not go to

Hi Bharath,

Is the second song Smt. Suguna's composition? Also, these concerts (Smt. Vedavalli's and this one) that you've reviewed seem very heavy on tamizh kritis - why is that so?

rshankar, i dont know if they had any theme. it was not announced so anywhere. The second song is a composition of Neelakanta Sivan (note NS mentioned in the songlist. ).
