Place to go if you want to ask someone identify raga, tala, composer etc or ask for sāhitya (lyrics) or notations or translations.

Too few/common words to go by. Could you please give the first line in full and also any rAgam info? I can search what I have.

Thanks! An excellent, very emotive Bhairavi from the great Somu! I am sure the violin accompanist is LGJ. :D :D :D

Sorry, I don't have the lyrics but I transcribed what I heard. It looks like one of his own compositions (in Telugu). May be Lji will have it.

I could not get the pallavi in full as he mashed the second line out of shape :(

tri lOka janani nI pada
three worlds' mother your feet
... (could not get any words beyond this)

prati sukhra vAramu sandhyakAlamuna
every Friday day in the evening

sruthi suddhamugA ninu gAnamu jEsi
pitch with fidelity your songs make (sing)

sruta jana pAlini kAmadhEnu bhairavi
devotees nourisher fulfiller of wishes oh ambA!

Somu makes pun with the swarams pa da mA, ni da mA. 'padama' means at the right stage in cooking a dish, 'nidama' means unhurriedly, in Tamil.
