It was a nice crisp concert. Bilahari was rendered beautifully with all the bells and whistles of Lalgudi sangatis. I find Nagai Sriram capable of very sweet melodious music except when he goes through ultra-fast phrases where the sweetness is lost. Percussion accompaniments were crisp.
Gurucharan is fast becoming one of my favorites following Sanjay and TMK. He has a warm, vibrant voice, good control, good padantharam, and creativity.

I never heard naa jeevadhara in concerts live, except Maharajapuram MA concert and a rendition of Lalgudi. This raga and the kriti will sound very well with gurucharan voice.sridharan wrote:Violin: Nagai Sriram
