It was an amazing concert. Everything was precise and presented beautifully. Very great music with a lot of bhavam that kindled the soul. I was literally in tears during the padam.

Great concert, this concert was in my radar right before the season also! Mami sang neraval for malayamarutham and kambhoji keerthana in pallavi line itself (there is a school of thought that neraval shouldn't be sung in pallavi..., not sure why and why not!). Nattakurinji keerthana was awsome, i heard for first time, keerthana has quite a lot of swaraksharas, not very common in shyama sastri keerthanas. And what can be said about padam and javali's post tani? Accompanists played great throughout concert, and arunprakash was just brilliant during sahana padam with very sensible and softest playing (he was just playing slow dhim, dhim most of the time, elevating concert to a different level). I have detailed notes from concert, can post details if someone is interested. Mami had difficulties some times with her voice, and she braved it to present an awsome concert.

Lovely concert. Smt Rama Ravi's swarams in particular were awesome. And of course, kalpita sangItam was top-class.
