The Nandanar Charitram presentation by Sowmya on Jaya TV was excellent. The young singers did an amazing job of singing the kritis. Sowmya's explanations were lucid and to the point. This presentation took us straight to Chidambaram.

It was an all youth presentation with Sowmya serving as the story teller. It is good to see Sowmya encouraging the younger generation and giving them the right platform to present and showcase their talent.

A wonderful program. Does anyone know the name of the young singers/violinist/mridangist?

Excellent Program! The singers are Raghav Krishna (Violinist VV Ravi's son), K Bharat Sundar and Haricharan. Heard that the youngsters are all participants of ragamalika.

Swaraprastharam by the trio on begada kriti was extremely good. In general the performance by sowmya is an excellent venture.

My father wanted me to record this as he wanted to watch this again...and again. Unfortunately the same was not repeated today morning in Jaya TV

Hi Folks

Nandanar Charithram - a geetha nrityam - the inagural show was staged on the 3rd Jan at NGS with Smt Sowmya / Shri Kunnakudi Balu/ Nrityam - Bala Devi Chandrasehekar. The show was very well received with the audience.

The same show is being repeated on the 7th Jan - Mylapore Fine arts, 9th Jan - Vani Mahal, 10th Jan - Petachi.
