Who is organizing and which channel will telecast? I can see so many youngers standing in line to get a few seconds of TV exposure!

This program 'Bru Carnatic Idol' is organised by Jaya TV(probably Ms.Subashree Thanikachalam and team, I am not sure). Young singers of age 15-25 can participate in this competition. Refer to today's Hindu concerts column. They have mentioned that they will telecast at 5:30 P.M. in the evening or something. Anyway, the prize galore seems very attractive - a chance to sing in the Margazhi Maha Utsavam organized by Jaya TV, a slot at the Cleveland Thygaraja Utsavam and some album contract(not sure!). I guess this program will be very successful.
