Immensely satisfying and worth every moment of the 2 hours 20 minutes I was there. Mukhari was like
the crowning jewel of this super superb concert. GV sang a longish swara section anchored at Ri that
was just beautiful and the violin riposte was great. The way percussion played for mukhari was measured
and enhanced the overall beauty of the song. Bhavapriya had a very good round of swarams. In total contrast
the the previous Mukhari, this came at rajdhani speed and was very enjoyable.
The tani was a tad long (22 mins) and ghatam didn't get much time in tani either. The team gelled well
to give an outstanding concert.
I only wish she had sung a Thodi or Bhairavi instead of Kalyani or swapped Saveri & Kalyani
Left after tani halfway through a lengthy but well deserved thanks giving.
She is in my must attend list now
