First concert of Kalotsav 2010, organised by Sree Ramakrishna Bhajana Sabha Trust. The Sivarathri festival (Kalostav) was inaugurated by Sri T N Seshagopalan.

This was a special concert. Sri Seshagopalan was in very good form and there was no stopping him (even the depleted audience towards the end) - he seemed to be in bliss and continued till about 9.50pm that evening. The Sivaranjani RTP was very detailed (over 55mins) and he presented all facets of the raga. The pallavi was very apt and was rendered very well.

The accompanists complemented very well and was a good team effort.

even the depleted audience towards the end -Does this mean that many of the rasikas went home even before TNS ended the concert? It seems it does not matter whether the artists sings good or not, there are some who leave the concert for unknown reasons!
