No VKR, there's no great "point" unless you can understand "faux indignation"... So here goes:

1) Cleveland voted most miserable city in the US.
2) Hey, but surely it can't be that miserable for it has the Aradhana

That's all.

Well, VKR could be thinking that the other cities have some kind of Thyagaraja Aradhana too. :)

From Seinfeld, which anticipates every human situation, even in rasikas.org
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Elaine's train. She's carrying a wedding present. A older woman approaches her*

Woman: I started riding these trains in the forties. Those days a man would give up their seat for a woman. Now we're liberated and we have to stand.

Elaine: It's ironic.

Women: What's ironic?

Elaine: This, that we've come all this way, we have made all this progress, but you know we've lost the little things, the niceties.

Woman: No, I mean what does 'ironic' mean?

I think it's important for people to be aware that this city is not a Fairy Land and take adequate precautions due to the under current of frustrated individuals roaming around in the city. For example, last year I saw several cars vandalized around the downtown area. It is advisable that people walk in groups especially in the night.

Yes, there were incidents of mugging as well. Visitors should be careful and not carry too many valuables or even wear heavy jewellery in that area.

It is a timely warning. The mugging/murdering news from Australia does not help either. The economy has been so bad in the US for the past 2 years. So visitors to the Aradhana in Cleveland have to guard themselves. Do not walk in the area after dusk (Of course the weather will not be conducive either this time of the year). Do not walk alone. Men should wear only normal street clothes. If women wear jewelry, either take it off before you venture out of the auditorium or cover yourself completely with winter jacket. We don't want any untoward incidents which will be bad for the guests and bad for the reputation of the country.
