As part of the Sri Rama Navami Festival of Nungambakkam Cultural Academy Trust, Dr.Radha Bhaskar presents a thematic programme “Sri Rama Vaibhavam” on 3rd April (5p.m) at Rama Rao Kala Mandap, Habibullah Road, T.Nagar .This will have compositions on Lord Rama by various composers like Thyagaraja, Bhadrachala Ramadas, Patnam Subramanya Iyer, Purandara Dasa, Annamacharya, Muthuswamy Dikshitar, Arunachala Kavirayar, Papanasam Sivan, Uthukadu Venkata Kavi, Mysore Vasudevacharya and Tulsidas. The songs will be preceded by suitable introduction about their meaning, musical beauty and also a brief sketch about the composer. All are welcome.
