Kolhapur Mahalakshmi
Is this deity considered Lakshmi the consort of Vishnu or since it is a Shakti peetha where parts of Goddess Sati's body fell, is she considered a form of Parvati?

It is considered one of 4 Sakti pIThas of Maharashtra - and yes, it enshrines mahAlakshmi, the consort of vishNu - the legend (I looked it up when translating a composition dedicated tp kolhapurISvari) is that vishNu and lakshmi are one and are co-worshipped through the vigraha of lakshmi in this temple.

It is also the place where mahAlakSmi tAyAr came down when bhRgu maharSi kicked the chest of SrImannArAyaNan. This story is found in the SrIvEnkatAchalamAhAtmyam found in varAhapurANam, brahmapurANam and brahmANDapurANam.
