S-P, that was an oversight, but now that I see it, I am at a loss to figure out what 'nalittiDuvAn' means in this context..It could mean 'he will make your heart (nenjam) yield to him (nalittiDuvAn) when one behods the vision (kATshiyil) of him in tiruccendUr, on the banks of the blue (nIla) ocean (kaDal)'. Arais/Sridhar/Rajani can help....

nenjam nalittiDuvAn=will make you lose your heart--in the same sense as mei maRakkach chaivAn. Since the kaDal kATchi (seascape) is also alluring, the composer sees Murugan in the beauty of it as well?

Ravi, as sung by Nityashree the first correction seems right but the next line says tan anbil "vaLarnda" bAlan... Also, she seems to (mis) pronounce ? (h)Alam uNDa "kaNThan" as "kandan".....

Sri Lakshman-ji - composer for this is given as Guhan.

Smt. Tara Natarajan's composition is different ......... kOla mayil Eri gynAnabAlan........??..

And--thank you, S_P. To know it is Guhan's (beloved Radio MAma's) song! He was one of my very first cheerleaders. I used to take part in his radio programs for children. He wrote songs for us to sing besides writing skits. Not only that. He encouraged our writing our own songs and stories too! I guess he would only be smiling from heaven for my 'tampering' with his verse
Guhan mama--one of the many unfergettable people I've been fortunate enough to have met in my early life...

The audio clip that I sent to rshankar is from the CD that has only N.S.Chidambaram's songs poupularised by S.Kalyanaraman.
Does this mean that N.S.Chidambaram is "Guhan"?
