Re: VAggeyakkArA ArAdhanam at the Indian Institute of Science
Dear Sir,
Kudus to Samskrita sanga, IISc. I was a member of the sangha, when a student in Met dept during 1993 - 97.
The Sangha has been doing wonderful work in propagating Sanskrit language and Indian Classical Music. Especially the Composer's Day & Aradhana Days were a treat, to music lovers and artists. My father Prof R A Phani Shayi had given a program on Annamcharya and a lec-dem on Samskrit kritis in Carnatic music.
I myself had the opportunity to perform in a few such events.
Very happy to know that the tradition continues !
warm regards
nandan
