And I always thought azhuttam came from the Heart , not the Voice Box .
Be it Kishore Kumar or MDR 8)
But I guess I am digressing . The first three paragraphs put me off.
Anyway best wishes for the event.

Well, it's marketing speak, eh?
How often do we bemoan the lack of voice culture and training in carnatic music? Such training can only be a good thing.
Of course, if it is not in the heart, it cannot be sung, but if it is in the heart then surely there is always scope to sing it better and/or with less strain on the singer?
I've posted the story about God's choir. It is a great story, and those who want to open their mouths and give voice to their joy, their praise, their love, should not be shy to do so. Those who want to sing as a profession, however...
