It was a beautiful concert. Nityashree was in top form. Every piece was rendered to perfection.
The varnam was very brisk. The swarams in the Suddha Seemanthini piece were really innovative. The Pantuvaraali aalaapanai was filled with bhaavam. Raghavendra Rao gave ample support on the violin. The neraval and swaram were given a very detailed treatment. The Purandara daasar krithi in Kalyaana Vasantham is one of my favourites, and judging from the reaction it got the moment she started it, so it was for most other people in the audience as well!
The Madhyamaavathi was truly exquisite. The raagam was explored entirely. The swarams were innovative and had some excellent kanakku. The thani was very good. Cannot remember much details of it now, but I remember enjoying it.
The highlight though, was definitely the Shanmukhapriya. The raagam explored every minute detail. The taanam and pallavi took the audience to another level. The Pallavi had two nadais. The first half of the Chatushra Triputa(Adi) taalam was in the Khanda nadai and the second half was in the Tishra nadai. It was a very detailed pallavi. Different speeds and different nadais were all explored. The Raagamaalika swarams were very fast. All lasting just one aavarthanam, but they were beautiful nonetheless.
The rest of the concert was pleasant. The thillaana was very well rendered.
A standing ovation followed!

I'm so sorry that I can't recollect it now. She announced the details of each song before she rendered it, but I didn't jot it down at the time and can't recollect now.
