Concert by Carnatica Brothers (8th September,2010)

It was a marvelous concert by the duo, Sri. Shashikiran and Sri. Ganesh held at Sri Venugopalaswamy Temple,Malleshwaram, Bangalore.
They were accompanied by Sri.C N Chandrasekhar on the violin, Sri. H S Sudheendra on the Mridangam and Sri. M A Krishnamurthy on the Ghatam.

The Aalapana by Ganesh for Ragam Khamas was brilliant and Kalyanavasantham by Shashikiran was outstanding. The Pallavi was a surprise. It was on the Lord Venugopalswamy. They lyrics was by Ganesh and tuned by Shashikiran. The Lyrics was something like " Sri Venugopalaswamiya Venu Naadavannu Kelalu Bega Banni". The teamwork by the vocalist and the accompanists was truly amazing.
Kudos to the team! It was indeed a great experience.

Are you saying there was ragamaliga in rAgas Kalanavasantham,Sahana, Vasantha,Malayamarutham,Dwijavanthi
In that case in which rAgam was tAnam sung ? or was there tAnamAliga where you forgot to mention rAga.
