He seemed quite high-tech
by starting the concert with his net book before him where he had the tambura recording.. Loved the naatai song and alapanai (request from audience) where we could see how strong his voice still is. The brisk bilahari on Srilakshmi was a new one for me and was a lovely krithi. The detailed raaga aalapanai on hemavathi was very impressive, again, havent heard that raagam in so much detail. Dinamani vamsa was ultimate from start to finish, added by Prakash Rao's thaniavarthanam. The rapport betn the 2 of them was great and Seshachary seemed to enjoy this the most! Yet again, the rare Peridininnu (not sure if am saying it right) was beautiful! Smt Radhika Mani took some while getting used to, but caught on very well as the concert went on. Overall a great concert esp. with just a 30 min drive!!
