I entered the hall when they were finishing Vegavahini.
Very enjoyable concert. All of them played well.
Srimushnam Raja Rao played beautifully. Sudhindra was sitting next to him enjoying himself.
Thani was wonderful.

Sounds like a wonderful concert. The way they've distributed the manodharma seems very sensitive too, though I think maybe kalyANi and Anandabhairavi AlApanes could've been swapped.

Most of these and most of Smt Neela Ramgopal's programmes are held on weekdays :@ :envy: :@ And Vidushi Neela Ramgopal's lecdem this Sunday too is on varNas, and that's not as interesting a topic as bhairavi-mAnji-mukhAri-husEni rAga swarUpas I read about last year. |(

Sorry I can't resist this - Varnams with Vid Neela Ramgopal would be a whopping session - Neela mami is really an authority on varnams and mark my word, it could get even more interesting than the bhairavi-manji one!!
