Re: meaning for nI pAdamE gati requested
Lji - here is my attempt. Smt. Savithri/Sreenadh/Keerthi can fix errors.
pallavi
nI pAdamE gati naLinakAntimati
Your (nI) feet alone (pAdamE) are my succor (gati), oh pleasingly attractive (naLina) embodiment of beauty (kAntimati)!
anupallavi
bhUpAla sOdari bhuvanatrayava vashaMkari (nI pAdamE gati...)
Oh sister (sOdrai) of the guardian (pAla) of the earth (bhU) [1] who captivates the three (traya) worlds (bhuvana) into subjucation (vaSaMkari) (your feet alone are my succor...)
caraNam
nA pApamu pOgoTTi nannElukO talli
shri pArvati shankari cidAnanda shriyam dEhi
Oh mother (talli), please get rid of (pOgoTTi) of my (nA) sins (pApamu) and look after (ElukO) me (nannu), Oh divine pArvati, consort of Sankara (Sankari), and grant (dEhi) me the wealth (Sriyam) of eternal happiness (cidAnanda) [2].

Re: meaning for nI pAdamE gati requested
Dear rshankar, there are no errors to fix, just have a couple of suggestions.
naLinakAntImati is clearly the name of the ragam, but if we have to translate it, I'd suggest naliNa=lotus kaanti=glow/light/radiance "One who glows like a lotus"
To clarify the mood, "nI pAdamE gati" is a stronger phrase, closer to "your feet are my only hope".

rshankarji,
the slight correction is to be made in the text.
It is *nannElukO talli* or *nannElukOdalli*
It is *Bhuvanatraya vashankari*
*one who has the three worlds in her hold*
*bhupala* is generally referred to humans.
May be it is *gOpAla*?
Your translation is beautiful.

Re: meaning for nI pAdamE gati requested
Faultless, rshanakr! but me being the nitpicking primate that I am, here goes...
1. The caraNam shouls be written as
caraNam
| nA pApamu pOgoTTi | nannElukO talli ||
|shrI pArvati shankari |cidAnanda shriyam dEhi ||
rather than
nA pApamu pOgoTTi nannElukO talli shrI
pArvati shankari cidAnanda shriyam dEhi
the edugai is better evident that way, and that is how it should be sung.
aaaaabbbb,
bhUpAla is a legitimate name for hari, as he is a) jagannAtha [a synonym for bhupAla], indicating his sovereignty and also since he is the consort of bhUdEvi, the personified earth deity.

Re: meaning for nI pAdamE gati requested
Smt. Savitri avare/Keerthi/Sreenadh, Thank you!
Sreenadh, since the rAga is naLinakAnti and not naLinakAntimati, and since kAntimat in sanskrit could mean beauty, I came up with that rather involved translation; naLini can also mean an attractive woman...
And I agree that 'your feet alone' is a rather inadequate translation of 'nI pAdamE'!

I have heard a brief but brisk chittaswaram for this krithi. Shall someone provide it? (pardon me if it is a deviation from the topic)

There is no ciTTasvara in the published book. It may have been added by someone else later.
