Workshop Summary: An opportunity to acquire a better singing voice, overcome inhibitions in music
learning, enjoy music and make your learning process fun; innovative techniques to improve your
creative skills in ragam, kalpana swarams, neraval, etc., daily vocal warm-ups and more! Certificate of
participation will be provided.

Who Can Attend: Open to anyone irrespective of training or background.

March 25
7.00 pm – 9.30 pm - Inauguration (by Smt.Kala Iyer) and Honoring of Bay Area Music Teachers
Lecture/demonstration and open house on voice care & cure

March 26
9.30 am - 11.00 pm - Group session: Voice techniques I (building stamina, range modulation etc)
11.15 pm - 1.00 pm - Group session: Creative singing
1.30 pm - 4.30 pm - Individual Counseling (gurudakshina welcome)
4.30 pm - 6.00 pm - Performance by Bay Area talent

March 27
9.30 am - 10.30 am - Group session: Voice techniques II
10.30 am - 11.30 am -Group session: Creative singing
11.30 am - 1.00 pm - Open house
1.30 pm - 3.00 pm - Performance by Bay Area talent
3.00 pm - 4.30 pm - Performance by Carnatica Brothers, Sri. Srikanth Chary on Veena and Sri.Ramesh Srinivasan on Mridangam
4.30 pm - 5.00 pm - Valedictory function/Participation Certificates
