Today in the AIR ,I listened to a concert of MSG assisted by daughter Narmada accompanied by KVI.

In the 80's I have listened to a few concerts with his accompaniment but distinctly don't remember any thing now.One of my friend's friend was his disciple who is in Britain now.It seems KamalhAsan learned from him to act as a mridangist in Apoorva RAgangaL.

KVI would accompany Dr S Ramanathan quite often.

I have one MSG recording released by HMV wherein he is accompanied by Sri KuttAlam ViswanAtha Iyer.

If I remember correctly it includes:

He was a left handed mridangam artist and lived in mylapore area. I have heard his accompaniment to Radha & Jayalakshmi also. The "Karpagambal mess" located opposite to Mylai Kapali temple is owned by his son-in-law.
