And yes, Smt Nirmala Parthasarathy is a wonderful disciple of Sri KSN. Incidentally, in the article about her, she says that her biggest regret is that none of her students took music seriously beyond a point. My sister was one of her star pupils in the late 80s, but did not pursue music after higher education. It is a pity that no one else seems to have either.

Smt NP's daughter, who was in IIT-Delhi at that time, was an excellent vainika in the KSN tradition as well.

Can someone post the Music Academy recording of KSN & MSS - Veena duet performed @ the Sangeetha Kalanidhi year of KSN.
MSS learnt veena from KSN.

Semmangudi (Vocal) + KSN (Veena) is very famous recording - Sree Dakshinamurthe and Sringram (Slokam).
