It was a good concert. The shuddha bangala swarams were good. Vasanta swarams and sketch were also good. ShaNmukhapriya was well done, but I felt the finishing swarams could have been a little more interesting.
The mOhanam was a little listless. She might have been running out of time.
Amrutha should avoid singing AlApanais in between songs. It might be an element of style picked up from Sri TVS but I somehow feel he still gives the krti neatly -- learnably neatly. In fact, in the mOhanam krti, the tALam was a little vague -- while this could be because the mrudangist did not know the eDuppu to which his tIrmAnam should land, it might have been magnified by these AlApanais.
The tani was good. I liked Narendra's first kOrvai a lot.
Anupama's replies were also fitting. And her mOhanam was listless too.
