Shreyas Narayanan gave an excellent concert on that day.

Shreyas is gifted with a mellifluous and robust voice. Excellent Pantuvarali and Karaharapriya renditions marked the concert with both robust execution as well as modulated delivery.
Mysore Srikant was finesse personified throughout. Played an excellent variety for the usual "gari. sa risa.ni sani da .. korvai for the Pranathosmi Deham. His essay of Nata and Hindolam were marked with rich creative flavour.
Both of us played Tani for Janaki Pathe and I played Kuraippu for 10 aksharas with variety. Nerkunnam sankar found traces of maestro Harishankar.
On the whole the concert was very good.
A word about Saraswathi Kala Kendra -- > An organisation based in Vellore run by Mr.Surendran and Mrs. Deepa. They have a music school in Vellore and there are about 200 students studying Vocal, Violin, Mridangam,Veena and Bharathanatyam. They have dedicated a portion of their house to have this music school and more over it is not with the profit motive they run this school. The fees that they collect goes to the Gurus who come and teach the students. They dont take even a paise from the Fees. They provide excellent infrastructure for students to learn with teachers from Chennai going there to teach during weekends. Apart from this they also conduct Monthly concerts and they have conducted more than 100 concerts so far.
