Narasimhamurthy, the well known Carnatic violinist and a teacher of genius, who has produced tens of first rate violinists and who are carrying the Parur style to the 21st century, is one of them. Other prominent students of MSG include C. N. Chandrashekar, a staff artist at All India Radio, Bangalore, and H. N. Bhaskar, a young, talented and much sought after violinist.
And on 26.6.11, on the Occasion of his 81st birthday celebrations , MSG’s another disciple Master VinayRahul .Koneti. a young talent of Andhraparadesh is being introduced to perform and continue the unique " Parur style” in carnatic violin.
Shri.M.LN Raju on Mridingam and Shri.M.Haribabu on Ghatam shall accompany the concert.
Padma Bhushan Dr.Nookala Chinna Sathyanarayana shall grace the function as chief Guest

On dais: Along with Shri.MSG and Mrs.MSG , Padma Bhusan Dr.Nookala Chinna Sathyanaryaana, Padmasri Dr.Yella Venkateswar rao , Hyderbad renowned Vidwanmani’s Hyderabd Sisters , Shri.PVS Seshaiah sastry – former principal Govt.Music college, Hyderabad, Shri.Komanduri Seshadri – Gana Vachaspathi and former Principal Govt.Music college Sec’bad , Shri.Peri Sriram murthy and Shri Kowtha Lailth Manohar – renowned Sanskrit scholar and president Astrology society of India – Dr.M.Narmada and M.G.Suresh – MSG’s son.
Shri.Kowatha lalith Manohar , blessed Vinay , exactly 10 years ago on 26.5.2001 on Vinay Mudra’s foundation day that Vinay is a blessed boy and will succeed in both education and music . God’s grace his words are true till today.
Shri.Akella couldn’t attend the function due to his pre-occupied schedules.
The program presenter was Shri.Dakshina Murthy AIR – artist – announcer , began with the welcome address and lighting of the lamp by all the dignitaries .
Shri .MSG , Shri.Nookala and Kowatha were remain on the stage for listing to Vinay’s concert.
Exactly at 6.50 p.m Vinay took MSG’s and Mrs.MSG’s blessings and the concert started with the accompany of Shri.MLN Raju on Mrididngam and Shri.M.Haribabu on Ghatam .The concert ended at 8.p.m.
The concert items are:
1. Saveri - Adi tala varnam – Sarasuda..
2. Nata - Eka tala - Maha ganapatim – - MDK
3. Ravi Chandrika – Adi - Niravadhi Sukha chandrika - TK
4. Poorvi Kalyani - Rupakam – Gynana Mosaga radaa.. - TK
5. Ananda Bhairavi- Misra chapu - ----------------------------SS
6. Hindola – Adi – Samaja Varagamana - Main item - TK
7. Lalgudi Tillana -adi – Mohan kalyani
8. Aj raho – Behag – Adi- Hindustani bhajan – Tulasidas.
These items are mainly selected to assess the Vinay’s standard in following “ MSG’s style and few for rasikas .
At 8.p.m all the dignitaries are welcomed to the dais to sit on the specified chairs centering Shri.MSG and Mrs.MSG . All the Vidwans were present on the dais and were there till the end of the function at 9.15p.m. and all the rasiks are in the hall till the end of the function , which all the vidwans expressed this as –a good day .
When all the dignitaries present on dais , a special request made to Dr.Narmada to tell us few words on the greatness of the ‘ PARUR’style. After Dr.Narmada’s speech the

• Nootana vastras to Mrs.MSG from the hands of Hyderabad sisters.
• Nootana vastras to Dr.Narmada from the hands of Mrs.Haribabu
• Nootana vastras to Shri.M.G.Suesh from the hands of Mr.Haribabu
• Felicitation patra to MSG from the hands of Shri.Nookala

Appreciation received to VINAY MUDRA from all the Vidwans and rasikas for organizing MSG’s felicitation at Hyderabad and for the opportunity given to participate. Vidwans expressed the felicitation function as the best and prestigious event held at Hyderabad in the recent past.
Shri.Nookala and Shri.Yella specially appreciated and blessed Vinay with their shawls . Most of the musicians expressed there is a lot of change in the vinay’s performance and he is an gift from MSG to Telugu land to lead the ‘Parur’ style.
Finally MSG’s speech:
MSG expressed that it is the best felicitation ever seen in his life and will never forget in life . And thanked Mr.Haribabu for the wholehearted efforts made to bring all the great vidwans on dais on the occasion which he expressed the best thing happened in his life to see every one dais..
MSG expressed , that if Vinay continues music with the same seriousness , in another four to five years vinay will become as one of the best carnatic violinists .
And also said at this age of 18 years , without much experience becoming solo artist and keeping the audience in the hall for hours is not that easy and vinay is able to do this and wished good luck to vinay.
God’s grace felicitation went well .
Local TV channels covered the program and issued in some of the Telugu news channels at 10p.m bulletin. Local news papers covered the event and It may come in the Hindu Friday review either on July first or 8th.
