Lakshmi Rangarajan at Kartik Fine Arts today at 4.30

Today (21-12-2006) Lakshmi Rangarajan (Disciple of Sangita Kalanidhi Sri.T.M.Thiyagarajan) is singing at Kartik fine Arts at 4.30 to the accompaniment of Nalina Mohan (of Bangalore) and Mannarkoil J Balaji. The concert to be held at P.S.Hight School-Dakshninamurthy Auditorium.

Dear member rshankar! I have already given in my first line that she is a disciple of Sangita Kalanidhi T.M.Thiyagarajan.

The reason for that question, Sri Balaji is the fact that in the booklet that accompanies the CD The Nauka Charitram by Navras records, Lakshmi Rangarajan (who sings as a gopi along with Charumati Ramachandran and Subhashree Ramachandran) is identified as Charumati Ramachandran's student. She must be Sri TMT's student currently.

No sir .. as far as I know Mrs.Lakshmi Rangarajan is the disciple of Sri.TMT for more than 25 years. I am not aware about the CD inlay. there might be some mistake in the CD inlay.

Lakshmi Rangarajan, her mother (Saraswathi) and her daughter (Subhiksha) are all students of Sri. TMT.
