The rendition is based on a Hindustani Raag – a combintation of Raag Bihag and Bilaval. Shri Raghava Krishna , a talented singer has participated in the lesson as a student. Dr Sriram meticulously explains the literal and spiritual significance of the lyrics before proceeding to teach each verse. Students will find numerous references to voice culture techniques throughout the lesson. Dr. Sriram provides numerous tips on expression of lyrics with import, strong adherence to pitch correctness, proper articulation, and useful exercises to build voice flexibility and range.

What a beautiful bhajan, immortalized by Pt Kumar Gandharva!
I wonder how long the unedited lesson clip is?

Hi,
The entire lesson is about an hour. The reason for actually doing these lesson is to bring the expertise of such musicians to a wider community. It gives students an opportunity to learn from musicians who would otherwise not have time to teach one-on-one due to their busy schedules.
Would appreciate feedback , on all aspects on these kind of lessons. Thanks.

I like to hear the full bhajan in 4-5 minutes and I believe listening to that 100 times is more effective than watching a 1 hour class and one cannot learn anything unless one has patience to sit through several times such a class. May be it is good for advanced students, even there, is 1 hour justifiable? Let others speak.

Beautiful .Indeed.
Wish I had 10 $ in my pocket .
Cant wait to listen to the full one hour .
Does that wonderful lady come in the full version and croon her way into our ear drums . I am so excited .
She was so wonderful singing lilllilyow lilllilyow in jog-nata on Doordarshan a couple of days ago .
My daughter and her one year old kid are absolutely crazy about this couple .
