It was a very good concert, right from start to finish with a neat selection of songs and ragams. . The poorvikalyani alapana was interesting , Bhairavi was so much soaked with bhavam., Both the ragas were sung splendidly, The song ‘Neepadhamule’ was really beautiful. I also really enjoyed her amba nilambari- Nilambari ragam, .The kalpanaswaras were brilliant crisp and highly entertaining. Her command over raga alapana and swaraprasthara is very good and matured. Good support was given by Mira sivaramakrishnan on the violin and Karaikudi ganesan on the mrithangam. on the whole it was a very satisfying concert.

I heard the bhairavi krti from Sri Shankar at Ananya in a PSI-special concert. It is indeed a very good and elaborate krti.

we often hear upacharamu thanayuni and balagopala in many concerts, neepadhamule has become a rare composition in concert platform now adays

There are few thillanas in todi, I am assuming she sang Poochi srinivasa Iyengar's todi tillana

It was an excellent concert.

Unfortunately, I was unable to put out of my head the project I had left off at home, so my presence/attention was not at all what the program deserved. Hate it when this happens --- but nothing to blame but myself!

Rajesh: small correction. It is "nAmanavini vinavayya, nAgaraja sayana nivu". The song is not on vinAyaka.
