I am trying to see the TNK concert. Nothing comes on. Is the concert streaming or is there some technical difficulties. It is about 9:15AM IST as I write this post.

Thanks Mohan,
Missed both Begada and Husseni. Was very spotty. Kept going in and out. Settled down with Thodi ragam and kirtanam.

Hope to catch TNK on repeat webcast. Caught a little of Ramani's concert and it was nice.
Malladis singing nicely - just pure classical music, which is exactly why I used to like them for years! MukhAri opener made my morning.
Thanks to Svanubhava, I'm sitting here in Boston at sunrise watching a perfectly beautiful concert unfold in the hallowed halls of Kalakshetra! Life is good.

Yes the Mukhari followed by Sankarabharanam (bhakti biccamiyave) ... not sure if there was more since I lost transmission. There was a brief tani so perhaps they were running behind time and that was the end?

Re: Svanubhava 2011
Just caught up with the festival. Thanks for offering us the recordings of the Chennai celebration. Saw the inauguration by TNK and Kalakshetra students singing the song on Rukmini Devi composed by Sharada and tuned by MDR. GBL's composition was danced by the students very well. Heard part of rAg bhairav sung by Venkatesh Kumar. Listening to Sri. Ramani now and enjoying his playing...
Thanks for bringing all this to folks who live away from India.

Could not watch more than 34 minutes of Ramini Concert. Could not even move the pointer past that time. Had a similar experience with one other program. Disappointed.

Nick, did you try refreshing the page and starting from the same time point again? I had to do that a couple of times.
Looking forward to Sri Nedunuri's concert. The Q and A sessions post-concert are endearing even if not particularly informative. I
Again, a big thanks to Svanubhava forgiving us parched souls overseas some quality music!

Nick,
A pity. His viribONi varNam, GowLai and gowri manOhari were simply moving. Good to see your pal Suresh playing. As you said, he is busy playing everywhere. I missed him for several seasons because my concert-going and his concert-playing didn't match, I think! There were a couple of us who wondered about why we hadn't heard him in a while!

Watching the nAdaswaram concert now - a beautiful bhairavi is unfurling. Good shruti shuddam and note sustain!

I'm glad others could enjoy the flute concert. Maybe just me, then: I wonder what the technical problem was, here or there?
It is a great pity --- as there were four stars on stage for that concert.

This nAdasvaram concert is absolutely beautiful! In Delhi! To an audience including a man who asks what these instruments are called! This is called undiluted CM!

Re: Svanubhava 2011
rshankar,
I think it's OK (maybe sad, but OK) for people (in Delhi) to not know of nAdasvaram or tavil. I don't know what a dilruba is, for example (of course, I can google it, but that's not the point).
I was trying to make a point about how uncompromisingly Sri Kothandaraman and his team played.

I'm trying to listen to the Delhi recordings (Nadasvaram et al) but all I get is the list of Day 1. Can't scroll it. What have I got to do to get the Delhi recordings?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thanks, Bilahari!
NedunurigAru's Shanmukhapriya was as if I was listening to him a few decades ago here in the US, singing an unforgettable RTP in the rAgA. Even at this age, he seemed warmed up in the Asaveri itself. What music!
Was looking for Prashant in the audience...

Yes, but he travels widely, and for a Nedunurigaru's or Vedavalli's concert, he would travel to Delhi too, I thought.
