Aishwarya Vidhya Raghunath - Nada Neerajanam
Aishwarya Vidhya Raghunath, will be performing at Tirupathi - Nada Neerajanam on the 29th of October at 6 PM. This shall of course be a live telecast by SVBC. She will be accompanied by Sri M R Gopinath on the violin and Sri Erode Nagarajan on the mridangam.
As Aishwarya is one of the best ones among the younger brigade, I am sure this would be a concert worth listening (and watching

Heard the concert. Very nice and sincere!! Undedi in atana , Venkata Shaila in surutti were very nice ,as also the main raga,Bhairavi. Though I am not technically competent, Ms.Raghunath's performance was a revelation thanks to SVBC! Showed a lot of promise and strained her vocal chords without restraining it!

Re: Aishwarya Vidhya Raghunath - Nada Neerajanam
Here is the song list that Aishwarya chose to present
1. Chede buddhi- Atana- Adi-Tyagaraja [S]
2. Paripurna kama- Poorvikalyani- Rupakam - Tyagaraja [N]
3. Sri Venkata Girisham- Suruti- Adi- Dikshitar [R]
4. Tanayuni Brova- Bhairavi- Adi- Tyagaraja [R, N, S] followed by tani aavartanam
5. Telisenu Ra - a padam in Saveri
6. Slokam in Madhyamavati
It was a crisp start to the concert. Swarams in Atana were a clean wrap to Chede buddhi. Suruti aalapna followed by Sri Venkata Girisham stood out exceptionally. I hadn't heard such a good suruti in a long time. Bhairavi was very well executed too. Its good to see that a padam was included in the concert. I haven't come across many youngsters who sing padams these days. I'm told that Aishwarya also learns from Smt Vegavahini Vijayaraghavan (Brindamma's daughter). What I noticed from Aishwarya's performance is that, it was an unhurried concert throughout. Also, she has a lovely stage presence that certainly added to the concert.
Sri M R Gopinath on the violin and Sri Erode Nagaraj on the mridangam supported Aishwarya in a way that uplifted the entire concert. On the whole it was a brilliant concert by this youngster and her team.

I watched Aishwarya's concert on SVBC. My sixth concert of hers so far. I must say that it was aesthetically supreme and she has a beautiful voice that made it more enjoyable. I have heard her sing padams earlier too. Her renditions of Kunte gadu - a padam in Suruti and Brovavamma in Manji (Nada Inbam concert sometime last year) still ring in my ears. No wonder she also trains under Smt Vegavahini Vijayaraghavan.
Is she from Bangalore? My best wishes to this young girl to reach greater heights.
I agree with ragmk. Aishwarya indeed has a very graceful stage presence.ragmk wrote: What I noticed from Aishwarya's performance is that, it was an unhurried concert throughout. Also, she has a lovely stage presence that certainly added to the concert.![]()

Why not move this to the topic on Naada Neerajanam?
