I wanted to attend AR's yday.But could not reach der. So decided to catch up with this. Today's was a more satisfying one.
The Percussionists were superb and lifted the concert to great heights. Their Tani were simply superb.

Bairavi alapana and violin return were good.Asusual Ragathil rcvd thunderous applause.She ate 15 mins of time of the next concert.
I expected an RTP from her.But did not get this time.The nreaval and swarams for seshachalanilayam were good. Her TM punches were seen in the virutham.

Nice set of songs! It looks like one of those rare occasions where someone other than her dad (Sri. Sivakumar) was the mridangam artist.

Now a days her father s not accompanying her mostly. And anyways he has bcme old and his playing lacks the punch. It s better she cmes with some other percussionists. Yday Patri was all class. I doubt whtr Sri Sivakumar can produce such class now.
