Vid. Amritha Murali is one of the singers who is making waves in the pre-main slots. She presented a very good concert within the 1hr 15 min time given to her with some good accompaniment from the violin and mridangam artists. Sri R. Sankaranarayanan on the mridangam was impressive and could play complex lessons fairly easily.

I also attended the concert.
The raga alapanai of both Varali and Karaharapriya were amzing for sheer versatility and beauty
Surely she is bound to create a place for herself , as a Vocalist , in the near future.
