The start was good with hamsadhwani tailed by a nice set of svarams.Certain rAgams have this special place of being taken as the first no.in a concert that evoke a kind of auspiciousness.

The SS of vAgadheeswari and the kriti that followed only confirmed the mood created in the beginning.

The vasanta AlApanai was erudite.Kudos to SP.The kriti was started from the anu pallavi and the string of svarms added beauty.

Orajupu wa sung in typical MMI style with unobtrusive svarams in madhyamakAlam and what a sowkhyam it was to hear those sarvalaghu !Balaji’s palying was commendable here.

KalyAni was sung elaborately in all the octaves.The style here was more of mahArajapuram.SP really labored to present it and his perseverance paid good dividends.It was v.g though personally I feel he could have trimmed its size in the middle octve.The svarms had kaNakkus initially before entering into MMI style sarvalaghu with landing in N.The whole exercise was good followed by a robust tani by bAlAji and sankar.

True to his name SP radiated like a sun in the tail enders.The KG was excellent.

SPA was full of grace in his accompaniment and added value to the concert by his playing. Humble yet powerful playing.

Overall the concert can be termed a success because of great team effort with every one giving their 100%.

I think U r right.Since I haven't heard the song before couldn't make the pallavi and a.p.correctly.

Ennagamanasukurani in Neelambari is a favourite of MSS and her fans too. She has rendered that song in many concerts very melodiously and excellently. Nedunuri also used to render this song very soulfully.
