It is well known that this kriti like other kritis of all miscellaneous & old composers ( Purandara Dasa, Narayana Teertha, Sadashiva Brahmendra, Jayadeva, etc. ) have been sung in many different ragas by same artiste in different events as well as by different artistes. Behag, mishra behag, maand, sindhu bhairavi, tilang, bhimplas, jhanjhuti, mishra maand, etc have been used.
