Every year a series of events are conducted to pay homage to the great maestro Veena S.Balachander who left this mortal world on 13-4-1990. The program for this year is as follows:

06:15pm- Talk on S.Balachander & Veena by Padmashree Prof S.R.Janakiraman

07:30pm- L.Leela (Mysore) veena accompanied by Guru Ragavendra on Mrdangam & D.V.Venkatasubramaniam on Ghatam
