Another concert that I liked a lot, for the song selection and also the way they were rendered. The music was serene, soulful and almost as important as that was the fact that it was totally devoid of any kind of gimmicks. Kumara Ettendra's gajavadana is a brilliant masterpiece and the bros sang it beautifully. Sri Vellore Ramabadran in his typical style, played a subdued yet interesting tani, maintaining the same kalapramanam throughout. I have always felt playing with Sri Ramabadran is not an easy task and Sri EM Subramanyam did a very nice job of it. Hoping to listen to more of the Rudrapatnam Bros in the future.
If any one else here attended the concert, I'd like to know what the first few pieces were.
