Sorry missed giving the link:

By the way MSG and Raghu have really lifted this concert, especially in Purvikalyani and Shankarabharanam. The Vegavahini is also a flood like the rivers in North India these days!

Dear Mr. Lakshman, I also wanted to label this as composed by Thyagaraja, but was informed otherwise by this article:
http://www.krishnaganasabha.org/article ... Madhav.pdf
Also understand this 'Thyagaraja' kriti is listed as doubtful by TKG. Further, did not find it in The Spiritual Heritage of Thyagaraja. Hence the listing.
We can perhaps add the words, 'ascribed to Thyagaraja'.

Rsachi
What a wonderful concert this is . The line between Trichur Ramachandran and his guru GNB has completely blurred . Cannot make out much difference between the two. The verve of shri TVR is just brilliant , every number oozed with immense classicism . I guess the accompanists especially palakkad shri Raghu has really lifted the concert. I particularly loved the veghavahini swaras , shankarabharanam the slokham and definitely rocking sarasa sAma dhana. Thank you rsachi , this 1972 concert was "parvati" shakthi with saraswati sangeetham. Great tribute to shri TVR
, who is newest sangeetha kalAnidhi.

Rsachi: While I agree with you that some of Tyagaraja kritis may not be authentic, I don't think that Spiritual Heritage of Tyagaraja is the finite word in the bard's songs. For example jagadAnandakAraka is missing in this book.

Dear Sri Lakshman, yes, sadly we lack a final reference set for Thyagaraja kritis.
