A special programme to celebrate the birth centenary of Dr. Sripada Pinakapani was held at Unnati Auditorium, Bangalore on 19.08.12. Mrs. Mala Mohan made a documentary style presentation on Dr. Pinakapani which had some nice audio, video footage. Malladi Suri Babu and his sons Malladi brothers (Sreerama Prasad and Ravi Kumar) then spoke fondly about their parama guru and rendered compositions set to tune by Dr. Pinakapani or taught by him.
